How to make paper mache
To make paper mache you will need some basic material so lets start how to make paper mache ,
Material you will need:
- Floor are liquid starch
- Water
- Bowl
- Paint and brushes for decoration
- Newspaper scraps
- Baloon
Mathod of making:
Now follow this step by step guide on how to make paper mache
First Cover your work surface with old newspaper to protect it from getting messy ,
Second Create the paste in a bowl mix equal part of floor and water stir it well until it becomes smooth and free of lumps be careful your paste consistency should be similar to pancake batter ,
Third Take some old newspapers or paper scraps and cut them in to strips these strips should be 2 inches wide and 4 inches long
Four Dip these strips one by one in to the paste mixture and remove excessive paste by gently run your fingers along the strips ,
Five place the coated strip on your balloon , wire flames or any other structure you are using smooth it well and continue more layers by adding strips one by one until entire balloon covered ,
Six Now leave it to dry for about 24 hours depending on the size and thickness of your project base ,
Seven Once the paper mache is dry you can paint and decorate it using acrylic colour let the paint dry before using it , its now ready to have fun and get creative by making more paper mache ,
